Funny Critical Reasoning Test!
December 8, 2005 200512 4:56 am | In Funny | Comments OffSome parts of the funny questions for a critical reasoning test I took today:
An elephant is grey.
A mouse is grey.
So I conclude all elephants are mice!
Actually had more but forgot them immediately after I started writing the one above =P
Anyway, some updates from me about my job apps - seems that I'm not having any luck:
1. Interviewed at a German bank for a derivatives stucturing/trading role and was told that my skillsets match a trader more than a stucturing guy so I wasn't hired! Sighz….what a waste of time - they should have stated it more clearly in the job description.
2. Beaten in a trading game last Monday, 2 good games but lost the final one badly as I was holding high cards. Must be the fever I'm having due to the lousy London weather and should have done what my instincts tell me - SELL! SELL! SELL!
3. Attended my first ever case interviews - it was fun but very long –> 2 hours of interviews - 1 about selling hard liquor in China and the other about boosting luxury car magazine subscriptions. Not at my best for the 1st one so no surprise there that I didn't get through, thought I did pretty well for the 2nd one…but oh well, luck's not on my side!
Looks like I might have to go back to Malaysia to find a job! By the way, anyone knows which companies in Malaysia are looking for traders?
Anyway, nothing better than a nice car to cheer up the day! Here's something to drool over for anyone interested in fast cars - it's a Lamborghini Gallardo in police stripes (photos taken in South Kensington):
