No!!!

Chelsea's out!!!

It was a good match though…but Lampard was completely shut out of the whole game except for the last few moments when he was taking the penalty! And it's more like a consolation goal…sighz…

Anyway, I was like watching the match on this Chinese channel and saw a cheesy advert for these chocolate/cappucino flavoured egg tarts! And guess what appears at the end of the advert:

It's a KFC product!

Never knew that KFC makes egg tarts as part of their menu and so I went around the internet to search for more info. Apparently, KFC have egg tarts in their menu in Macau, Hong Kong & China! And for China, there's some unique localised products such as:

-Seafood & Egg Soup
-Tender Bamboo Shoots

Amazing isn't it?

Also, while searching Wikipedia, I came across this statement:

In Taiwan and Malaysia, there exists a KLG, which stands for 卡啦鸡 in Chinese. KLG are the initials of the Chinese words. The store also uses KFC elements in an altered form. For example, the lettering is of the same font and color as KFC. One visible difference is that their logo is that of a rather plump chicken wearing a bow tie, instead of Colonel Sanders.

Huh? KLG? Have any of you seen a KLG in Malaysia before? It might be true for Taiwan but I don't think so in right in Malaysia…anybody care to enlighten me on this?

But I haven't been back in M'sia for ages, so is KFC Malaysia selling egg tarts too?

    1. There's one in Langkawi if I'm not mistaken.

And I've seen another one, in Selangor, but I can't be too sure. It might have been on the way back to Perak, also. My memory is lousy. And nope, I didn't try :P

    8. There are a couple of KLGs in Ipoh, but I only remember the one in Gunung Rapat (on the way to Simpang Empat toll). But the last I heard, the branches are being closed down one-by-one.
