Featured Blog on SARA!

Hi guys,

In order to introduce some form of interactivity between SARA users, I'm introducing a new feature called "Featured Blog".

So what is it?

SARA

See those other feeds on the sidebar? One section will be fully dedicated to the featured blog and it'll be at the place most pleasing to the eyes - right below the Flickr [malaysia] images.

But that is not it, as much as I would like to be the tyrant and just choose any blog that I like (except for the 1st one), I've decided to just leave it to you guys.

How does that work then?

Well, to submit a blog to be featured, head on over to KOREKK and submit your blog there. See this post for a more detailed picture.

What's the benefit of being featured on SARA?

Besides having a dedicated feed section just to yourself, the link to the featured blog there will be under the h1 tag headings which in search engine language means an important part of the page. Considering that SARA is a dynamic page and it gets alot of search engine bot visits, this section is invaluable for your search engine rankings and profile.

Why is SEOnoob the first featured blog?

Thanks to SEOnoob's analysis of SARA, I've taken some of his advice and implemented some steps to improve the link value of SARA. So this is like a thank you for him.

So let's hope this will take off and we can soon enjoy a new level form of interaction between bloggers and blog aggregators!
