Prague…
August 1, 2006 20068 10:36 pm | In Personal |A 5-day trip turned 4 days 'cos we missed a flight by 5 minutes because of the tube which decided to breakdown when we were only 1 stop away from Heathrow, and a non-working Circle/District line that early morning. Ended up another 100 quid poorer each and 12 hours of waiting in airport, we only reached Prague at 3am the next day.
Anyway, Prague's quite a beautiful city, though abit quiet compared to London but the sights, food and company was worth it. We also took a train ride to the nearby city of Kutna Hora to check out the silver mines, alchemy museum and the church. I'm kinda lazy to write about everything that happened, so here are just some pics of the food I experienced and more pictures of the things I saw there.
What I Ate:
Tried some local Czech specialties:
Leg of a Lamb
Potato pancake with pork
Roasted pork portions
Beef Goulash with Rice Dumplings
Roast Duck with Rice Dumplings and Sauerkraut
One of the restaurants we ate at, near the Astronomical Clock and it's underground, so it's really cooling =)
