YASC – Yet Another Streamyx Complaint…

Is it just me or does anyone else's connection seem to go dead after every 30-60 minutes after 8am? Also why is the internet connection so slow after 8am, now I'm forced to wake up at 6am to do some decent work over the Internet…pleaselah, buck up abit!

After the so-called upgrade, I've seen some slight improvement i.e. http download speeds have improved but now this has to happen. sighz….

On another matter, is it just me or the Star has really lost its quality these days, why are they always behind NST in picking up juicy stories recently? Also, why publish columns about UK politics almost everyday? I don't see how it adds value to the paper instead it's losing value by paying those columnists in sterling pounds. Perhaps they should take a leaf from the Sun, despite its thickness I think it has more worthy news than both theStar and NST combined!

    1. Yes, the Streamyx customer service (technical) that's a misnomer it should be testicle!
      They never tell the whole story, maybe they don't know it!!!Same old bullshit story over and over again.

      Streamyx broadband is very slow, intermittent and cuts off quite frequently, in a nutshell is an absolute disgrace.
      We are paying a lot for virtually nothing.
      They talk about "best effort" ut are not making any effort at all, they are utterly useless

      I think that TM NET STREAMYX ISP are acronyms for the following

      TM NET
      Tardy Misleading Not Even Transparent

      STREAMYX
      Substandard Teleco Relentlessly Enjoying Arrogant MonopolY eXcessively
      ISP
      Ignorant Self-centred Profiteers
      The diagnosis: Too much bullshit and not enough action
      The remedy: Kick arse! Weed out all the deadwood (ooooops, that's maybe the whole lot!) and get those in who can deliver.

    3. after 8.00am i'll be in the office and i don't use the internet a lot so no comment, but after 8.00pm being at home, i use the internet a lot and yes i do notice disconnection now and then. damn irritating!! yes after 30-60 mins, line went dead. have to wait, 10 mins, 15 mins, sometimes 1/2 hr then the line come back but surf surf for an hour or more…whoosh!!… line went dead again. very geram lahh!! grrr!!
