Kena "saman"-ed in Melaka!

Have to say that the Melaka Majlis Perbandaran's really efficient, I was parking my car outside this shop selling coconut biscuits, etc and within 5 minutes when I came out, there's a parking ticket behind the wiper…and the officer is nowhere to be seen…all this happened on Deepavali, a public holiday!!! What luck!

So, anyway, a public message from me to all non-Melakans: their Majlis Perbandaran requires that you display parking coupons even on public holidays (except Hari Raya)

On another matter, I finally got the chance to eat the famous chicken rice balls…but have to say that it's not really good - too dry and not much taste, it's more like ketupat and they used broken rice for it…sighz, cut cost also must keep the quality mah…

    1. Hari Raya also included lah. From 8AM to 6PM lagi, inclusive of all public holidays.

      It used to be much more effective because these enforcers get 40 cent commission for each saman and these enforcers were so super rajin that the saman could be 1 minute before you come back to your car or 1 minute after you leave you car. Heck, they even fine those who parked their cars in an empty field.

      It was reported by many newspaper. :D That period alone, I got saman-ed like 5-6 times.

      And if you pay the saman within 14 days, you get 50% discount. :D

    3. got 1 ticket for parking by the road, ticket expired barely 1 minute. rm40 saman. din pay until i receive a legal notice after 6 mths asking for rm320 or go to court. so gotta pay anymore. gosh. kenasaman.com
