I think this is one of those phones that look better in real life than in pictures! Great build quality, even the box that comes with it, looks really cool and simple! And now I get why ppl think the heat-sensitive keys are so cool.

But the thing I found funny is the carry strap/screen cleaner that comes with it…looks pretty classy, cute and useful (it works!) at the same time, but I'm not sure if a guy will carry a thing hanging around like that. Btw, see the background on the screen cleaner, it's the surface of the box!

How to access the web through their walled garden!

You can move around their shi*e lan as much as you like, but it's difficult to get out. There is a way tho, most people talk about that email gateway thing, just shows how much people are forgetting these days.
The best way, which does require two 3g handsets, but only if you want to set it up yourself, is to download a program off the net that allows you to run your own proxy server, for example 602LAN Suite. Install this, setup the proxy server to access the internet over your broadband connection, i say broadband coz if you did this on dialup you are just silly really, and then you will be running a proxy server at 0.0.0.0:8080, if port 8080 is the port you chose, and 0.0.0.0 is your computers ip address.

NOTE: at this point you need to record the ip address of the three phone you have connected to the above system, simply dialup to 3's lan as described below, but do this on the system mentioned above, hence y u need two 3 handsets, one for your desktop connected to broadband, and one for the notebook/laptop your taking with you.
How to find your ip address, if in windows xp, simply right click on the little computer flashy thingy by the clock, and slelect status, click details, and the ip you want is the one that says "Client address" NOT "server address". Make a note of this ip, as you will need to enter it in the next step.

Then its simple, with your notebook/laptop, and other 3g phone, go anywhere in the country with 3g or 2.5g signal, connect your phone to your laptop/notebook by usb cable provided with your phone, or bluetooth, and dialup to *99#, username and password is irrelavent. Then simply set your proxy settings in your browser to the details you found in the previous step.

If you have internet explorer, click tools, internet options, connections, choose your dialup connection from the list, click settings, and enter the ip address of the other 3 phone connected to your desktop at home, and the port number the proxy server is running on.

And viola, you've got unlimited free mobile internet!!!
