State of the Malaysian Blogosphere
April 11, 2007 20074 1:23 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffGuess it's time for me to write something here after like almost 2 months without posting! Well, all in the pursuit of money & adventure I guess…while missing out on the love…sighz….
Anyway, if you've checked and saw someone on your blog that has been reading for like 30min-1hr, it's probably me…lol. Anyway, it seems that I've missed quite alot this past 2 months, but let me summarise it in my version of the "State of the Malaysian Blogosphere" and see what else I've missed out:
1. Local blog advertising war! Woah…didn't expect this to happen and I was thinking about this idea like a year ago too…lol, you guys still accept investments? Anyway, looks like most guys & girls sided with the one with a funky name, but honestly the design & logo of the site still needs some improvement (you guys can perhaps check out this Malaysian guy that has a real amazing portfolio though), although the blog itself is pretty good.
The other one looks amazingly good though but probably suffered from too much bad publicity until not many wanna try it…I guess the only way to fix this is to offer a pretty good sum of money to M'sian bloggers for a post in PPP…lol
2. Bloggers are enemies-of-the-state!!! Now must register some more, I wonder how much more paperwork they wanna create so that they can upload the details into myKad? Or are they just sending business my way?
3. Blogger turned politician! From my alma mater somemore! Wishing him luck but it seems that it's gonna be a long and arduous path he chose. With all the talk about "Malaysians First" and looking at the current trend, it'll all boil down to race in the end. The political party he's now in is simply too "Cina" so to speak, you guys need more non-Chinese politicians!
4. SARA and gila!!! are getting more traffic!!! I'm happy of course, but it's kinda sad too. Guess it could be due to the bunch of agloco, ppp, get rich quick blogs you see every 2-5 posts on a certain website named after a street.
5. eh, anything I missed out?
